A Little More About Me

It’s amazing to believe that I have been in and around the Real Estate Industry since 1982. Wow… 34 years!! It doesn’t seem possible. I began my career while in high school, inputting listings, office bookkeeping, making appointments and giving out keys to realtors, wanting to show the company listings. No lock boxes back then.

After college, my career led me into the mortgage industry for 11 years, moving from receptionist, to processor, to loan officer to loan underwriter, working for major banks like American Savings Bank in Hawaii and Suntrust Bank here in Florida.

In 1995, while working full-time, raising kids and helping run a plumbing business, I obtained my Real Estate License. Around 1998, I decided my career was going to again make a change and I decided to put my Real Estate License to use, and went to work for my parents, who had opened BNB Realty, Inc. in Clermont, FL in 1994.

For two of the next ten years, I also worked for a builder, handling their new home sales. In 2004, while working at BNB Realty, Inc., I obtained my Real Estate Brokers License and started my own Property Management Company called All Rentals, Inc. My father and I were partners from then until 2005 when I was hired at ERA Professional Real Estate as an agent and to assist with the handling of their property management accounts.

In 2007, I decided to go back out my own and took over the family business of BNB Realty, Inc. We have continued to grow the property management side of the business along with our sales and referral base of happy customers. During my career, our industry has seen a lot of changes. Some have been good and some not so good. But, when it is your career, you learn to adapt, change and improve with the times. I always tell my kids, “it is a good day if you have learned something new”.

Over the course of my career, I have helped so many different and amazing people, by selling or renting out their homes, or helping someone rent, or buy their dream home! I have enjoyed working with each and every one of them. Some have even become longtime friends.
